Current emergencies

(C)UNICEF

When an emergency strikes, UNICEF staff in the area react rapidly.

The first aid we deliver usually arrives within 48 hours. Our role in emergencies is to save lives, alleviate suffering, and protect the rights of children.

Follow the links below to find out about the current emergencies we are fundraising for. Our Humanitarian Action Report 2010 outlines silent and ongoing emergencies around the world.  You can help us respond to these by donating to our Emergency Fund.
